Description:

Tangier, a Moroccan port on the Strait of Gibraltar, has been a strategic gateway between Africa and Europe since Phoenician times. Its whitewashed hillside medina is home to the Dar el Makhzen, a palace of the sultans that's now a museum of Moroccan artifacts. The American Legation Museum, also in the medina, documents early diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate.


Itinerary:


Day 1: Arrive To Tangier - Rabat - Casablanca

Picking you up from the airport in the first day in "the City of Strangers; Tangier. Along the road, our representative will provide a brief overview of the program of your entire journey from the beginning until the end of the trip. Looking out onto the Straight of Gibraltar, Tangier’s bay opens to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. There are many things to see both in Tangier and its surrounding area.Since antiquity, the city has been coveted by many kingdoms and empires. So that climbing up to the Kasbah, the city’s main attraction that looms over the medina and offers a view as far as Spain and the Straight of Gibraltar. And don’t forget to pay a visit to the Caves of Hercules, the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It’s the most famous sites in "the bride of the North". As assault followed assault, Tangier’s heritage grew. Its present cultural wealth attracts visitors from around the world but also Moroccans seduced by its more temperate climate. Indeed, the region is perfect for travelling all year long: the temperatures never exceed 30°C in summer and float around 12°C in winter.Tangier’s coastal road is a marvel. So we take it to drive toward Rabat, the Morocco’s administrative capital city. The most beautiful sites in the port city on the Atlantic Coast exist there. The Hassan Tower, which is a minaret of an incomplete mosque, will be your starting point. You can also benefit from a long walk and get pretty pictures since the city is located on the Atlantic Ocean coastline, at ABouRegregbayriver.Rabat is famous for its museums, visiting some is a worth taking adventure especially the archaeological museum. And since it gathers both of ultramodern and historical aspects, it is an opportunity to visit the picturesque oudaiaKasbat and the Chellah Necropolis. In the evening, we will take you to youe Hotel for spending a calm night there.


Day 2: Casablanca - Marrakech

In the early morning of the second day, we rush out to Casablanca via the high way. There you will make the most exciting tour to visit the most interesting sites of the giant city. Hassan the 2nd Mosque as the most gigantic one in all over the kingdom and Africa is going to be your starting point in Casa.You can also visit the central market, where you can enjoy a brief shopping activity, Mohamed V Square and the celebrated “Palace des nations UNI”; a very active space of Casablanca town Centre. It is an opportunity to learn more and more about the countless features making Moroccan history along with its culture and customs.After that we continue through the high way toward Marrakech; the Red city. There also you will find a local guide waiting for you to take you for a tour full of surprising things.The famous Koutoubia mosque is considered as the city’s most conspicuous landmark. You can discover the local open-air Markets and the brightest souks of this charming red city of Marrakech where you can stroll and get some souvenirs to memorize your trip. By the way, the Moroccan people call the city “Al Bahja” which means “Happiness” in all senses of the word. This exploring tour will make you know what’s sheltered behind its powerful ochre ramparts, the medina guards the relics of the city’s history, from the Almoravid dynasty to the Saadien reign.Other impressive sights such as the Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewellery without forgetting to visit the Menara and the sumptuous Agdal gardens are worth visiting.Beyond the Jemaa el Fnaa square, you can have dinner in one of the traditional restaurant before taking you to your reserved accommodations. Day 3: Marrakech - Boumalen dades

A long drive is waiting for you in the third day of our trip. So waking up early and enjoys the sunrise on the palm groves and tasting a delicious breakfast can be a good sign for continuing our journey toward the vast desert of Morocco. Our next destination will be Boumalen Dades. Crossing the High Atlas’ most beautiful sites and the craggy mass of rocky peaks with the highest summits of the Atlas chains. Passing by the most spectacular paved mountainTizin’Tichka pass in Morocco so as to reach the M’goun peaks. Surely, your cameras’ lenses are always ready to take fascinating images of the beautiful sceneries of the M’Goun Mountain which is a part of the High Atlas range and its preserved charming little Berber villages. At the mouth of the upper Dades valley, Boumalenedades are located at the edge of a desert plateau as an old passage of transhumance. The heart of the valley is a heaven of freshness and surprising landscapes inhabited by incredibly welcoming Berber people. You’ll admire the beautiful scenes of orchards and discover unusual rocky outcrops the “monkey fingers”. This geologic curiosity is particularly enchanting at sunset.Live a moment of utter peace and relaxation thanks to the spiritual night that you are spending in mystery and melancholy.


Day 4: Boumalen Dades - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi Tour - Camel Trikking

After having a delicious Berber breakfast and enjoying the sunrise warmth of the Fourth day, we leave Boumalenedades for Merzouga. A little Saharan village in south eastern Morocco at the feet of the Erg Chebbi dunes, in the Tafilalet Valley which is considered as the gates of the great red desert. Venturing into the erg and its dunes riding a camel is a unique experience to tell in your homecountry.Crossing the ochre desert and the monumental dunes that move and change shape at the whim of the wind is offering a colorful, luminous and panoramic view. And what make the adventure more exciting is spending the night in the Bivouac of the erg Chebbi and its mysterious sea of dunes’ golden sand and enjoy the Saharean showin a traditional Berber nomad tent under the stars in the desert and immerse into the cultural sphere of the celestial vault.


Day 5: Merzouga - Fes

Leaving the bivouac of erg Chebbiriding camels which are guided by an experienced guide in the fifth day, we arrive to Merzouga, where a delicious breakfast is waiting for you after you have a shower and change your clothes in your accommodations. Later on we head toward Fez. It is one of the imperial cities of Morocco. To reach the cultural city of Morocco we cross the Tafilalet palm grove, the biggest in the world. Then we reach the Ziz valley, which river comes down from the high Atlas and feeds the palm grove. In this point we will have a short stop to enjoy the panoramic viewsof the valley and the town of Aoufous from this high viewpoint. Arriving to Midelt where you can have lunch and get some rest just in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. In the afternoon, we carry on our trip through the Cedar Woods.Once we are at the cedar forest between Azrou and Ifrane, you can meet the Maggots monkeys.Then head towards Fez through snow-capped mountains and rich vegetation to diversify. An imperial city that makes you feels an excellent impression just by taking a look at the hallway of the town. It’s such a panoramic view. We will arrive to fez late in the evening. Once we are there, we will take you to your booked accommodations to have a warm shower and get some sleep for the night.


Day 6: Fes - Airport

Finally, our journey comes to its end by waking up early in the next dayto enjoy the sunrise over the medina rampart. After having breakfast, it is time to take you to the airport for the checking in and assistance with the boarding formalities for your flight back to your home country.
