Marrakesh, a former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. The medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks (marketplaces) sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry. A symbol of the city, and visible for miles, is the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque.
Day 1: Arrive To Marrakech
This Magical journey from Marrakesh to many sites in morocco such ouzoud, Azilal, Benimellal, Khnifra, azrou, Ifran, Fes, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, meknes, Rabat, Casa Blanca then back to Marrakesh Itinerary is an ideal way to experience the Most cities of Morocco. It will allow you to travel through the North of Morocco’s kingdom, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, see the waterfalls, the cedar forests and monkeys (Barbay apes), enjoying the sights and learn more and more about the countless features making Moroccan history along with its culture and customs. So that in the first day, we will pick you up from the airport and take you straight away to your accommodations to have a warm shower and have some rest. After that if the time allow, you can make a free tour around to enjoy the sunset over the red city and go back to your hotel to spend the night in a peaceful atmosphere.
Day 2: Marrakech - Imi N'ifri - Ouzoud
In the morning ofthe second dayand after having a Moroccan breakfast, we drive towardImi-N-Ifri passing by several small towns and villages with a real rural feel about the Berber culture and lifestyle in the most spectacular areas of outstanding natural beauty. Once you are in Imi-N-Ifri, a primitive destination thatdelights lovers of the nature, you discover a beautiful natural bridge, made of a vault covered with stalactites. It is naturally carved rocks that will make you impressed when you visit the cave of Iminifre. A geo-morphological curiosity and uniquein Morocco where many birds find refuge.A mule ride in this village takes the walkers in the heart of a High Atlas which reveals charming little villages. Then we drive toward Ouzoud where we will spend a spiritual night in one of the primitive host house inside the Berber village.
Day 3: Ouzoud - Azilal - Beni Mellal - Khnifra - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes
In the third day and after having a Beldi breakfast at your leisure at one of the cafes serving delicious dishes next to the creek and enjoying views of the waterfalls, you can start the visit to Ouzoud and take some pretty good pictures of the majestic waterfalls to memorize this trip among the huge natural cascades and natural carved rocks, Barbary macaques, graved feet of dinosaurs and rural villages that appear to be stuck in the midst of time.After that we continue toward Azilal. A small city which is located in the High Atlas and surrounded by beautiful landscapes in a region populated by nomadic shepherds. The city is known for its incredible scenery. The medieval valley of Bouguemez is a beautiful tourist valley that that attracts more and more visitors who are passionate about nature. Then, we carry on our journey towards BeniMellal. The famous city of its oranges and olive groves on the edge of the great Tadla plain. So that we will have a short stop in AinAssardoun, water source, to refresh yourselves and take some pictures. Later on we head to Khnifra via KasbatTadla. Once we are there you can visit the sources OumRabiewhich are one of the most prestigious tourist places of the Middle Atlas. Formed of a set of very high flow sources that spring under large blocks of limestone. To enjoy the site, you can take some memorable pictures. After that we continue towardAzro which is famous of its opulent scenery of the huge cedar forest where you have a short stop to see the Barbarous apes that depict the wildness of the Moroccan sites through the middle Atlas Mountains. Then we reach Ifran, the switezland of Morocco. There we will have a short stop to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos.Ifrane’s fame derives from its winter scenery, and as a popular place for altitude training as well as a resort town where you can escape the summer heat. To continue our trip we head toward Fez for having some rest and spend the night after getting a warm shower.
Day 4: Visit Of Fes
In the morning of the fourth day, a local professional guide will pick you up from your accommodation for full sightseeing tour of Fez, the scientificcity of morocco. It’s "the oldest living imperial city in the world” where you will stroll in the old medina souks (Markets), stop at the gateway of the Royal Palace then visitthe 9th century Karouine Mosque and University, the BouâInaniaMedersa as well. And also the tomb of the city founder "MoulayIdriss II". Without forgetting to stop by the famous Dar el-Magana. It is a fourteenth century water clock that deserves a moment of meditation. After lunch in one of the traditional restaurant in the old Medina, we will navigate through its narrow streets to the Jewish quarter and the Chouara Tanneries then visit the Najarine Fountain, the Old Harem and the Batha Museum. Later on, the guide will lead you back to your hotel for spending the night after enjoying the sunset on the ramparts of the old Medina.
Day 5: Fes - Chefchaouen
In the next day, the Fifth one, we will leave fez in the early morning after having breakfast for Chafchaouen; "The blue Pearl or the blue city". It is situated in the Rif Mountains womb with its charming traditional buildings just in the south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. Chafchaouen or Chaouen is also famous of its vast fields, fig trees, pomegranate trees, dates, Cactus loaded with juicy fruit, and olive groves. When you drive through, you see a fabulous abstract painting, with beautiful monotone colors.After making a full tour of the blue city, we drive you to your booked accommodations to get some rest and spend the night in there.
Day 6: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Rabat
After having breakfast in the sixth day, we proceed toward Volubilis; crossing via wazan and other Rif’s villages. It’s an opportunity to discover the roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history. The historical sites dates back to the Stone Age and make you feel the humble life of ancestors since the city bears the marks of several civilizations. It’s a place that deserves to be memorized via the lenses of your cameras by beautiful pictures in there. After that we will proceed to Meknes city,the 17 thcentry heritage, where you will discover the ancient walls with monumental gates dating back to XVII-century such as famous gateway in north Africa Bab Mansour, Bab Khemis, El Heries-Souan huge granaries and the Royal stables built by SoultaneMoulay Ismail as well as Moulay Ismail mausoleum and and the Rouah as well as Her-es-Souani and the Bassin de l’Ageudal without forgetting to visit also Place-El-Hedim great monumental. Later on, we leave the Ismailian city for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Once we are in Rabat you will see the Hassan Tower, which is a minaret of an incomplete mosque.The city is located on the Atlantic Ocean coastline, at ABouRegregbayriver. During the period of Sultan Yacub al-Mansour, the tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world in 1195. And since it gathers both of ultramodern and historical aspects, it is an opportunity to visit the picturesque oudaiaKasbat, Hassan Tower and the Chellah Necropolis. Later on we drive you to your hotel to spend the night.
Day 7: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech
In the seventh day and after having your breakfast we leave Rabat for Casablanca. Our starting point will be the giant Mosque of Hassan the second. It’s the most gigantic one in all over the kingdom and Africa with a tower of 210 meters. Mohamed V Square and the celebrated “Palace des nations Uni” are very active spaces of Casablanca town Centre and they deserve to be discovered. Besides, all long Mohammed V Palace there are blocks of constructions reflecting the French architecture. And since Casablance is the economic capital of Morocco, it is an opportunity toenjoy a brief shopping activity in the central market.By the end of today’s visit, we will travel to Marrakech for the overnight.
Day 8: Visit Of Marrakech
Inthe Eighth day of our journey, an official local guide will take you for a full-day tour of Marrakech. Starting the guided tour by visiting the famous Menara. It’s a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. Memorizing the tour with beautiful pictures will be appreciated. Then the guide will take you for the sightseeing tour that will cover several impressive sights. The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewellery. After having lunch in one of the traditional restaurants in the medina, it will be followed by a long walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. Later on you can enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, and then the guide will take you back to your accommodations for spending the night there after having a delicious dinner.
Day 9: Enjoy a free day
In the morning of the Ninth day, you can enjoy a free day in Marrakech to discover the local open-air Markets and the brightest souks of this charming red city. Hanging out freely will make you get the feel of Moroccan tolerance and immerse into the Marrakech cultural diversity.Get an opportunity to learn the city’s story and get a frame about the locals’ daily life, traditions, food and customs. You can profit from a long tour in the uncovered Red Bus as well as a camel or pony ride. They are unique activities and gorgeous attractions. Later on you can see the sunset over the high palms of the red city and enjoy the different musical bands in Jamaa EL-fna square to have some fun and joyful moments around there.
Day 10: Marrakech - Airport
The last day; the tenth one, comes with a departure that make you missing already your long trip before leaving the Moroccan country for your home. It is time for checking out and collecting you and transferring to the airport for the checking in.
